Entering my spankin' new baggy cigarette pants and my so called 'minimalist' t-shirt from Padini Concept Store. I originally intended to couple these pants with my pointy loafers/jelly sandals. And also I went to this Book Festival at The Mines, Sri Kembangan. Guess what? Everything is brand new and cheap obviously, If you're a bookworm im pretty sure you'll drop dead once you reach there. Well what I wish for is to actually go to Zara's warehouse sale someday and hoping it'll be super super cheap.
Woke up extremely early this morning just to get my ass to college and straight away to Kuala Lumpur textile museum with the classmates. The omnious clouds perfected the mood I needed this morning hahaha. Well basically I went for my signature 80's vibe today in my mum's old dinner outfit and also my rm18 pointy loafers. What we did today was.... touring around the scariest museum I've ever been and did some sketches for our assignments. A friendly reminder for you guys, Dont ever go there alone. Instead of taking pictures of the textiles I end up snapping a lot of buildings and selfies. And I think this might be my last post before my finals. Till then.
Im forcing myself to blog tonight because I want to!! I will be having my english test tomorrow and here I am talking to myself hahaha. So I went to this nearby wax museum in Shah Alam last weekend, it was fun even though the wax dolls aren't the same as the real person well hey it's new in Malaysia? Atleast they have it here right? As for my suggestion, I think you guys should go on the weekdays because you'll definitely get squish in the crowds during the weekends. Hmm time to squeeze my brain now, bye guys.
How's everyone doing? It's holidayyyyyyy and also it's the week of my mid-sem break. Happy holidays to all the Malaysians and also Happy Deepavali to all my indian friends. And these are a few shots from my photo shoot assignment I did last monday with my group. Well as you can see the theme is vintage and retro ? My group and I brought whatever vintage attire and props we have and gladly everything matches even though it was a last minute plan. And also I did most of the makeup and I curled her hair just like in the early 1920's (which it doesn't last because I misplaced my hair spray haha) Im hoooooooping for a good results, wish me luck xx
After being free from college assignments for few days , I went on a little shopping spree at Nu Central, KL yesterday. It wasn't that bad after all, The mall has beautiful architecture just that it's too high which I am afraid of heights haha. Anddd I've bought the jeans I wanted from monki which also the one i've seen on tumblr and also a simple top which is not that pricey. Stylishly aligning myself with the products i consume is self-expression. What I buy, what I enjoy, What I choose to taste and also accessorise is who I am.
(Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha to all my muslims bro & sis)
Side split skirt: Times Square , Fringe bag: House of leather , Gladiator sandals: Windsorsmith
